Visual acuity and vision assessment
This test is aimed at measuring your vision with or without spectacles with a letter chart called Snellens chart, and the prescription in existing spectacle lenses could be found out using an instrument called foci-meter.
Prescription Assessment - Refraction
Objective tests (where the practitioner observes the results) and subjective tests (where you pronounce what you see) help determine whether you are long-sighted, short-sighted, astigmatic, presbyopic, or have a normal vision. Our practitioner will explain to you the results of the eye test and a record of the prescription or special instructions, if any, will be offered to you. The practitioner also recommends when you need to return for your next appointment.
Automated Visual Field
Ask for emergency attention because delay of this can cause permanent damage. Some neurological cases (brain tumor- pituitary adenomas) undue delay can bring the patient’s life to a threatening situation.
'A' Scan (Biometry)
We are the first optical company to facilitate 'A' scan service to the public without a waiting list.
Corneal topography
It is one of the latest equipment in the eye care field which has been already introduced. It can give you the colour picture of the corneal condition, which can help to diagnose different kinds of eye diseases with confidence.
Eye pressure testing
Glaucoma (eye pressure) is one of the major reasons for blindness without any symptoms. Air puff tonometer can give you digital results of eye pressure without any eye drop or any touch.
OCT (Optical Coherence Tomographer)
The only latest instrument to offer three diagnostic capabilities. The information provided by it produces retinal images never seen before. The result is data that enhances your ability to diagnose and manage a patient’s glaucoma or retinal disease.
Orthoptic Assessments
This test enables you to diagnose and treat eye-movement disorders and visual impairment. Especially, the orthoptist specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of children with strabismus (squint) and amblyopia (lazy eyes).
